Phyllis Manske (Biocca), lives on Kibler Road, Paradise, CA 95969 (Oct 2002) We need more information, Phyllis
Ralph Marsh, lives with his wife, Gloria at 9518 Topridge Dr. #27, Austin, TX 78750. E-mail: mgm@aol.com
1951-1954
Joined the Navy in January. After boot camp I went aboard the USS Manchester a light cruiser and made 4 trips across the pacific pond to Japan and Korea. In January 1953 I got married to a girl from San Francisco. I had to go out of town for the girls all knew me in the San Jose area.
1954 - 1971
Worked for Pacific Telephone in San Jose. Started out as a lineman, then went to construction splicer, then maintenance splicer. Transferred inside to a line assignor then as a deskman. In this time period the wife and I had three children. A girl and two boys. We lived in the Cambrian Park area.
1971 - 1984
Went to work for a company in Sunnyvale that manufactured test equipment that was sold to the telephone companies. I was hired as an instructor and my territory was the U.S., Canada and Puerto Rico. I was traveling every other week. In 1978 Minnesota Mining & Manufacturing Co. (3M) acquired the company. In 1984 they closed the operation in Sunnyvale & moved it to Austin, TX. I was requested to move to Austin and put together a global training center. In this period of time our two older children got married. My oldest moved to Salem, Oregon and the other stayed in San Jose and gave us two grand daughters.
1984 - 1996
Established the global center in Dec 1984. I also took on responsibilities of testing new test equipment to see if it was ready to be sold to customers. In 1989 my wife decided that she didn't like Austin and moved back to San Jose. In 1990 we divorced. In this period of time my youngest son gave me two grandsons & a granddaughter. In 1993, I remarried to a great gal from Texas.
1996 - Present
I retired on May 1, 1996. Because of all my experience in the telephone industry, 3M asked me to contract back to them to do training for them. I have worked about 1 week a month since I retired. I am also one of the cofounders of the RGBB Club (Retired Guys Breakfast Bunch). Our aim is to find the best restaurant in Central Texas that has the best chicken fried steak. We meet every Friday morning for breakfast at Taco's. To all the retires in the class of 1950, this is an invitation to attend breakfast with us if you are ever in Austin, Texas.(May 2002)
Jay Martin, lives with his wife, Marilyn, on Mont St. Helen Dr., Powell Butte, Oregon 97753 Email: wrangler@webformixair.com (Jul 2006)
After leaving high school, I spent four years in the military (one year in Korea). Shortly after starting college, I met Marilyn, the girl I married soon thereafter. After farming for several years in E. Washington, I returned to San Jose and became a member of the San Jose Police Department. Marilyn and I lived in the Santa Cruz mountains until my retirement in 1987. We had four children, one boy and three girls. One of our daughters was tragically lost in an auto accident. All four of our children graduated from Los Gatos High. We have five grandchildren. After my retirement, with no children at home, Marilyn and I bought a small ranch in Grants Pass, Oregon, where for the next 13 years, we bred and raised Tennessee Walking Horses. We sold out and moved to Bend, OR in 2000 to be closer to grandchildren. We still have a small farm (16 acres) where we raise hay and keep two horses. We have ridden horseback extensively in the Oregon Cascade Wilderness areas and we continue to do that each summer. We are also very involved in traveling in our R. V. and spend about two months each year touring the U. S., Canada and Alaska. (Dec 2002)
Margaret Maxey (Boos), lives on Beverly Ct., Campbell, CA 95008 I was married to Jack Kimbrill. We owned Carpet World. We had three boys (Nile, Jordan & Arnon) and one girl (Eden). We moved to Loreto, Mexico in 1970. I stayed in Loreto 21 years. Jack returned to the U. S. and remarried. I raised my children in Loreto. After my youngest was in college, I returned to visit my mom. A long time friend and I married in 1991. Edward Arthur Boos Jr. passes away Oct. 12, 2002 after only eleven years of marriage. He had been married to my cousin, Helen McCabe, who passed away in 1989. Helen and Edward's son is a distant cousin so he is very much my son and his daughter is my granddaughter. I have three grandsons as well. My first husband, Jack was in Campbell Grammer School when I was there but he later went to James Lick High and entered the navy. Edward went to Santa Cruz High and served as a pilot in WWII. After he returned, he worked himself up through the cannery and retired as manager of California Canners & Growers in Sunnyvale. Before children, I worked at Sunlite Bakery. Jack worked hard and we owned Carpet World. He now resided in Idaho with his wife, Lola. (Jan 2003)

Lillie Meleen (Lindvall), lives in Springville, CA 93265 (P. O. Box 820) E-Mail: BoldLillie@aol.com. About two weeks after graduation in 1950, I had successful surgery to correct a birth defect affecting my heart. I then attended San Jose State for a year before marrying a minister, Phil Lindvall on September 30, 1951. He was a pastor of several different churches; Mt. View, San Jose, Calexico, Three River Falls, (Minnesota) and Sunnyvale. About half of Phil's ministry was spent pastoring churches and the other half traveling across the country in Prayer Conferences. Part of the time, Phil traveled alone but part of the time, we traveled with our children (1966-68). We had an Airstream trailer and I home schooled our children. We had three boys and a girl. The last 10 years of Phil’s life (1981- 1991) we were all over the country with Prayer Conferences. It was so interesting interacting with the people from California to Washington to New England to Florida to Texas and all states in between. Believe me, I learned my geography. Phil died of cancer in 1991. Since that time, I have lived in my own mobile home on my oldest son’s property. We live in the foothills of the Sierras above Visalia. I enjoy gardening, working for my son in his ministry/business and teaching piano. My grandchildren are a great delight to me; all 18 of them.(Sep 2002)

Wayne Moles, lives on Congressional Street in Chowchilla, CA 92610. Email: dnwmoles@att.net Darlene (the former Darlene Mink, CUHS '51) and I were married Feb. 25, 1951 in Campbell. We have three wonderful children, Stephen, Danielle and Lynette. They have given us five super grandkids and we look forward to having great-grandchildren. I served in the United States Air Force until Nov. of '53, when I returned to Campbell to help care for my father who was dying of cancer. I joined my father-in-law in Mink & Co., a real estate business, in 1953. In 1956, I joined Surety Title & Guaranty Company as an Escrow Officer. In 1961, I joined Donald L. Stone Homes and eventually became President and General Mgr. By 1963 we were building over 1,100 buildings and homes per year in San Jose and the Bay Area. Between 1961 - 2002 I developed in excess of 7,600 single family lots and constructed in excess of 5,500 single family residential homes and a shopping center. The majority of my construction and development was in the entry level and low-income housing, using programs such as California Housing Finance Agency (CHFA) Bonds, FHA/VA, Farmworkers Housing Grants and the Federal Assisted H.O.M.E. Programs. In 2001, when I had a serious battle with Cancer, I sold my Construction and Development Company and the majority of my subdivision land. I have been blessed with a return to good health. I am now semi-retired and enjoy golf where we live, in Green Hills Estates Golf and Country Club. I serve on the architectural Review Committee and also serve my church as Chairman of the Building Committee. We also enjoy traveling with high school buddies and friends, such as the Brands and the Bartons. Best trips have been to Branson, Hawaii, Mexico, Canada and Spain. Also, fishing with my son in Alaska (Prince of Wales). We are looking forward to a big family wedding in April In Branson and a high school graduation in Colorado in May. Our joy is watching the grandkids grow up and spending time with church family and friends. (Jan 2003)
Robert Moore, lives at 19 Lea Rd, Whittle-le-Woods, Chorley, Lancs, UK PR6-7PF. Email: RMoore1980@aol.com. Upon graduation from CUHS, I earned a BA at COP (UOP now) and enjoyed the band with what I learned from our CUHS bandmaster, Mr LeCroy, studied one year at Richmond College, London, then a theology degree and master's degree from Boston Univ. After a short time as a Methodist minister in Minnesota, I was ordained an Episcopal priest and served parishes in Minnesota (White Bear Lake, Anoka) and New York (Adams). For 21 years I was a Chaplain in the USNR serving some of my active duty with the Marines in Vietnam. While there, I adopted a ten year old boy who is now my son Thomas, who is retired (Major) from the USMCR and lives in San Diego. In 1980 I accepted a parish position in the Church of England in Lancashire (NW England) having 'tried it out' on an exchange in '78-'79. I have served parishes in Fleetwood and Leyland (near Preston) since then. An interesting 'diversion' was ten years as substitute chaplain in a high security prison in my parish. Retirement came five years ago and I Iive in the village of Whittle-le-Woods near Chorley with a beautiful view out towards the Irish Sea, can even see Snowdonia in north Wales on a very clear day. I am under 25 miles from Manchester which provides ample cultural attractions and less than an hour by train from Manchester International Airport which serves the world. Friends, travel, Rotary, reading, walking take up my time. Living in Europe is great for travel, my son and I having made a 3,300 miles car trip around Central Europe. I do travel to California quite often to visit my 96 year old mother (when she is not traveling herself!) who lives in Carmel. A reunion would be interesting. I enquired about one in 2000 but no such luck. If you are in the North of England (no, I do not live near London and seldom go there), give me a ring (01257-265701). We can see what 52 years has done to us! An after-note: Of all the teachers at Campbell, the best by far (though we tended to be afraid of her) was Miss Lois Gardner. Without her help, I would never have passed the English exams for Pacific. (Sep 2002)
