We are the parents of Marie, Lori and JoAnn and VERY proud grandparents of Ashlynn, Cassie, Luke, Cole and another one to make its debut in July 2002. I was farming (fruit) in Vernalis, Patterson, Hollister and on Payne Avenue, San Jose until 27 years ago. When I saw the orchards being pulled out for housing developments, I got out of farming. At that time, I went into construction (part-time remodeling) and remained in that field until I retired 5 years ago. I missed my orchards immensely!! In 1989 we purchased a 600 acre cattle/hunting ranch (called the Double J)in Red Bluff, California, to keep us busy. During the first 5 years we owned the ranch, I built our cabin, garage, barn and motel (bunk house for the kids and friends), made roads, etc.. We spend 50% of our time at our ranch and love every minute of it, especially when we are with our children and their families. (May 2002)
